John P.K. Featheringill, M.D., has practiced orthopaedic surgery in the Birmingham, Alabama area for more than 30 years. His OrthoSports Associates office at Princeton Medical Center is a thriving a practice that offers patients an intimate atmosphere and excellent care. Dr. Featheringill specializes in adult joint reconstruction and general orthopaedics.
Dr. Featheringill earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama Medical School in 1974 followed by surgical internship and residency at University of South Alabama and University of Alabama.
His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Alabama Orthopaedic Society, American Medical Association, Alabama State Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, and the American Association Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Featheringill and his wife live in Birmingham. He is an avid runner and loves the outdoors and sailing.
