Dr. Williams specializes in Rheumatology, a medical subspecialty that deals with diseases of the joint and connective tissues such as muscles and tendons.
Dr. Williams completed her internship and residency programs at the University of Minnesota, then went on to complete her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Superior diagnosis skills and a caring approach make Dr. Williams an expert in treating a variety of afflictions to the joints, muscles, and connective tissues. Dr. Williams often coordinates her treatment efforts with those of another physician in order to expedite the patient’s maximum recovery.
She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Williams is also a member of the Alabama Society of Rheumatic Diseases, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Williams lives with her family in the Birmingham area.
