Dr. Woods, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon, fellowship trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. He specializes in hand surgery with specific interests in wrist and elbow arthroscopy, wrist and elbow arthroplasty, peripheral nerve surgery, and upper extremity trauma. A native of Birmingham, Dr. Woods received his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After medical school, he completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Colorado. He then completed his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
